A cry in the darkness, a scream in the night
a sound all filled with pain
a howl to the moonlight, a shuddering crash
the silence forever changed.

A shout into the dark mists, a melee of noise
a yell from deep down inside
a bluster of voices, of people perturbed
a blast from which no one can survive.

A bellow in anger, a longing keen
a clamour without a name
a shriek of injustice, a wail of despair
the future will not be the same.

A roar from the hopeless, a hollering bawl
a sob from the witless and scared
our loved ones are dying, we shout and we're crying
why does it happen to the best of us?

No help to save ourselves.

I decided to put this one up, I'll put the other in a minute, but anyway, this is for a friend who may loose the one he loves from bone cancer, it made me so sad, and I'm not happy about the way the poem came out, but, eh, if I keep upgrading it it will sound terrible

I like alot, altho it is a sad thing, i think its very well written, havent read realy good poetry in a while, thnx
